Railway Bridge Maintenance Work In The Inverness Area

During the month of October, Atkins Rail, on behalf of Carillion Rail, will be carrying out maintenance work at various bridges around the Highland road network.  Road users are being advised that although disruption will be kept to a minimum, they may find some delays in the journeys during the period of works.

The work schedule in the Inverness area is as follows:

• Tuesday 7 October:
A half road closure and lights will be in place along Anderson Street in Inverness

• Wednesday 8 October:
A half road closure and lights will be in place along Nelson Street in Inverness

• Thursday 9 October:
A half road closure and lights will be in place at Englishton in Inverness
A Stop and Go system will be in place on the A862 at Clachnaharry

• Wednesday 29 October:
A half road closure and 4 way lights along Kessock Street in Inverness
