East Sutherland and Edderton Ward Forum focuses on Housing Issues

The next East Sutherland and Edderton Ward Forum will meet at 7.30pm on Monday 20 April in Golspie Community Centre to discuss the housing issues in the Ward.

The Forum will be attended by Tina Luxton, Highland Council’s Area Housing and Property Manager, Albyn Housings Housing Director Helen Barton and Development Director, Donald Lockhart and a representative from Highland Small Communities Housing Trust. They will be discussing housing developments in the Ward as well as housing issues and challenges. They will also answer questions from the members of the Forum and the public.

Councillor Deirdre Mackay, who will be chairing the Forum said: “The Forum offers a real opportunity for people to hear about housing plans and the challenges faced in the Ward. The Forum will also offer unparalleled access to key people in three of the agencies offering housing in the Ward. I am looking forward to hosting a lively debate and hope that people take the opportunity to get their views across to housing providers in the Ward.”

As with all Ward Forums, there will also be an opportunity to discuss any issues of concern that members of the public wish to raise.
