Restrictions For Pedestrians During City Centre Streetscape Works

Temporary traffic restrictions will be in place affecting pedestrian access to parts of Lombard Street in the city centre next week.

From Monday 20 April Lombard Streets will be closed to pedestrians at its junction with the High Street for approximately 16 metres.  The closure, which will be in place until Friday 24 April, is to allow ROK Civil Engineering to continue streetscape work.

An alternative rote for pedestrians will be available using the High Street, Church Street, Baron Taylor Street and part of Lombard Street.  This route will be sign posted.
