Access Road to Lower Foyers reopens

The Highland Council can report that the access road to Lower Foyers, which has been closed to all traffic since the pipe burst on Sunday, is now fully operational and open for use by vehicles and pedestrians.

Following the incident on Sunday damage to the road embankment had forced the closure of the road and temporary access has been available from the B852 to Lower Foyers via a private road serving Foyers Power Station.
