City Road Closures During Highland Games

Motorists in Inverness are being notified of temporary road closures in the city from 8am on Saturday (18 July) until 8pm on Sunday (19 July) during the 2009 Inverness Highland Games which will take place in Bught Park.

The road closure will affect sections of Bught Road and Ness Walk between the junctions with Bught Avenue and Ballifeary Lane.  Alternative routes for vehicles will be available using Ness Walk (part), Bishops Road, Ballifeary Road, Ballifeary Lane, Bught Road (part), Bught Avenue, Bught Drive and Glenurquhart Road.

The closure will affect vehicles only and access for pedestrian, emergency vehicles and local households will be maintained.
