Kingussie High School flooding

Parents and pupils of Kingussie High School are being advised this afternoon by The Highland Council’s Education, Culture and Sport Service that they hope to be back to business as usual on Monday 8 June following Wednesday' flooding incident.

Monday’s SQA Exam will be taking place as normal in school and transport will be available for pupils involved.

The school also fully expects to be open for all other pupils on Monday as well. A final update announcement will be posted on the school’s answering service on Sunday evening.

The Council is awaiting confirmation from BT that engineers will be able to restore both the school’s internal phone network and main switchboard as without these telephony services the school cannot be fully operational for health and safety emergency procedures.
