Ward Forum looks healthy

The health of local servcies will be on the agenda at the Cromarty Firth Ward Forum next Thursday (18th June).

Alison Phimister from NHS Highland  will be at the meeting to outline health services available in the Ward and to answer questions. She said: “Coming to a Ward Forum helps the NHS do a health check on the services we deliver in the community so we can be sure we are aware of any local concerns and it also gives us the opportunity to ensure community representatives are aware of how we deliver services in their areas.”

Convener of The Highland Council, Councillor Sandy Park and Chief Executive Alistair Dodds will be attending, along with local Ward Councillors.

Councillor Martin Rattray said: “The Ward Forum gives a chance for community representatives to really find out detailed information about the services that are available and also to raise any questions they have. It is also useful to know what people think is good and what could be better about services the Council deliver.”

The Forum is being held in the Invergordon Town Hall at 7.30pm, with teas and coffees served from 7pm.

Anyone who would like to submit questions in advance of the meeting or has any special requirements or needs to help them take part should contact Helen Ross, Ward Manager, at the Invergordon Service Point or by phoning 01349 855524 or by e-mailing helen.ross@highland.gov.uk.
