Children make funny faces at Caithness countryside centre
Around seventeen children packed out the Seadrift Centre at Dunnet in Caithness yesterday to take part in a “Funny Faces” mask making event organised by The Highland Council’s Countryside Rangers.
Paul Castle Highland Council’s Countryside Ranger said: “There was an excellent turn out and everyone had great fun making, decorating and trying on their masks! Many of the masks created depicted animals and wildlife.”
Highland Council’s Countryside Rangers run many events and guided walks which aim to help raise awareness and encourage appreciation of the scenery, wildlife and heritage of the Highlands. This wide range of events and activities is aimed at local communities and visitors alike.
