Arboriculture works along city street

A temporary traffic restriction will be in operation on sections of Telford Road in Inverness on Monday (6 December) to allow for the safe removal of a dangerous Elm Tree which is situated next to the carriageway.

The restriction will be in place from 9.30am until 4.30pm and the area of Telford Road affected will be between its junction with Dunabban Road and its junction with Care Road.  Also affected will be Pumpgate Street between its junction with Telford Road and its junction with Lochalsh Road, other than in an easterly direction.

The Highland Council has contacted local businesses and will provide access for residents.  The restriction will start after the morning rush hour, after which diversions will by in place and sign posted for drivers.
