Concert brings ancient music to life

Coronach, the Highland Early Music consort will use a variety of early instruments to perform lively and beautiful dance tunes from throughout Europe, including Scottish Courtly dances, Highland Ayres and Dances and consort music.

Coronach are based in Inverness and have performed the popular music of Renaissance Scotland for over 17 years.

The concert, organised by the Highland Council’s Community learning and Leisure Service, takes place as part of Highland Archaeology Fortnight; a diverse programme of events celebrating the rich cultural heritage of the Highlands.
