Nominations sought for Civic and Community Awards 2005

Area Chairman, Councillor Carolyn Wilson, announced this year’s launch of the awards by saying: "Last years ceremony was a great success. We received around 60 nominations of which 33 received Awards. I hope that once again folk in Ross and Cromarty will come forward with nominations for people of all age groups and walks of life who have contributed to the success and wellbeing of their local community.

"The Awards are a chance for us to say a big "thank you" and publicly acknowledge the tremendous hard work of many unsung heroes in our midst who do so much to enhance the life of others."

The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Monday 28th November in the Victoria Suite, Ross County Football Club, Dingwall.
