School closures

A total of 13 schools were affected today (Monday) by adverse weather.

In Caithness, Wick High School and Thurso High School were open to town pupils only as school transport was not in operation.

Primary schools to close were Bower, Canisbay, Crossroads, Dunbeath, Halkirk, Hillhead, Wick North and Wick South.

 In Sutherland, Farr High School was closed.

 In Lochalsh,  Plockton and Glenelg primary schools were closed.
