Corran Ferry meeting

A public meeting to discuss the proposed works at Nether Lochaber slipway and the impact this will have on Corran Ferry operations is being held on Tuesday 9 February.

At a ward forum last month,  strong concerns were voiced by residents of Ardnamurchan and Morvern about a possible four-week suspension of the ferry service, which would allow vital slipway repairs to be carried out.  Since that meeting, Council officials have been considering options put forward at the meeting by residents and will be able to provide a full update on progress at the public meeting.

The meeting will be held at 8pm on Tuesday 9 February 2010 in the Sunart Centre, Strontian.
