Winnie the Pooh at Abriachan

The Highland Council Countryside Rangers are inviting families with younger children out to the woods on Wednesday 4 August to take part in a Winnie the Pooh event. Meeting at the Abriachan Forest Trust car park, Abriachan (grid reference NH 541 354) at 2pm, the event will last for 1.5 to 2 hours.

Katy Martin, The Highland Council’s Countryside Ranger in Inverness said: “Winnie the Pooh is a well loved children’s book that looks at the animals that live in our woods.  This fun event for families with children under 8 will help you explore the local woods and learn a little about what lives there.”

People should dress warmly. The paths are easy access and suitable for pushchairs and buggies. All children should be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The event costs £2 per child.
