Community Safety focus of Easter Ross Ward Forum

Community Safety is back on the agenda for the Tain and Easter Ross Ward Forum being held next Thursday (24 June).

Community Safety is an ongoing topic at all Ward Forums but this time it will be taking centre stage.  Inspector Ramsay Aitkin from the Northern Constabulary will be discussing Community Safety issues and giving an insight into the work of the police.  James Sanderson, The Highland Council’s Education & Enforcement Officer will also be there to discuss littering, fly tipping and dog fouling, issues that Community Councils highlighted they wanted to hear about.

The Tain and Easter Ross Ward Forum is being held in the Seaboard Memorial Hall, Balintore, on Thursday 24th June from 7.30pm to 9.30pm with a 20-minute slot allocated at the end of the meeting for questions from the public.  Teas and coffees, hosted by the Balintore and Hilton Community Council, will be available from 7pm to 7.30pm.

Every Community Council in the Tain and Easter Ross Ward and other representative community organisations are members of the Ward Forum and have the opportunity to feed the views of their community into the subjects being discussed.
