Youth Convener visits local Community Council

Youth Convener Magnus Monahan returned to his local area to attend the
Creich Community Council on Tuesday (16th March). Magnus spoke about his role as the full time representative of young people in Highland and also explained about Highland Youth Voice, the Youth Parliament of the Highlands.

Young people who attend the “youth bus” youth club in between Bonar Bridge and Ardgay also attended the meeting to talk about their project.

Magnus said: “It was great to be back at my local community council and having the chance to let them know what I’ve been up to. I was also pleased to see some local young people there getting involved in their community.”

The Community Council have now agreed to have regular updates on the Youth Bus every time it comes to Bonar Bridge.
