Inverness road repairs completed

Since 15 March, Harbour Road, Inverness, between Raigmore (Millburn) Level Crossing and the Mill Burn has been closed to vehicular traffic between 7.00am and 7.00pm, for the construction of footways and for other essential maintenance. 

The Highland Council is pleased to report that work will be substantially complete by 4.30 pm today (Wednesday).  The road will therefore be re-opened and normal two-way movement of traffic will be permitted.

The Council wishes to thank the public for their patience during this period of unavoidable closure, and also the Contractor, M.M.Miller (Wick) Ltd., for completing their work two days ahead of the original schedule.
