Temporary road closure affecting Struie Road

The Highland Council is advising drivers that part of the B9176 Struie Road will be temporarily closed to traffic from 6am on Wednesday 12 May until 8pm on Tuesday 18 May to allow for hazardous tree felling operations.

The area of the Struie road affected is from its north junction with the A836 at Wester Fearn to its junction with the U2002 link road to Edderton.  The U2002 link road will remain open but it is not suitable for heavy goods vehicles

An alternative route suitable for all traffic is via the A836 Ardgay to Dornoch Bridge Roundabout and the A9 Dornoch Bridge Roundabout to Skiach Junction.  Diversion signs will be in place.
