New Council office-bearers

The Highland Council has appointed two new vice-chairmen of strategic committees.

Councillor Graham Marsden, Nairn, is vice-Chairman of the Resources Committee, replacing Councillor Martin Rattray, Cromarty Firth.

Councillor Alasdair Christie, Inverness West, is vice-chairman of the Housing and Property Committee, replacing Councillor Robbie Rowantree, North West and Central Sutherland.

All four councillors are members of the Liberal Democrat Group on the Council.
