National Pay Award agreed by Resources Committee

The Highland Council’s Resources Committee has agreed to implement a decision of Leaders of the Convention of Scottish Local Authorities on the application of pay increases to staff over this and the next two financial years.

The three-year settlement for the period 2010/11 – 2012/13 for employees whose terms and conditions of service come within the framework of the Scottish Joint Council for Local Government Employees and the Scottish Joint Negotiating Committee for Local Authority Services – Craft Operatives will see a 0.65% increase paid in this financial year and a zero increase in the following two financial years.
