Civic Trust Awards 2007
Entries sought for National Architecture and Environmental Design Awards
Outstanding examples of new buildings, restorations, and public art or landscape schemes are invited to compete for the Civic Trust’s unique award scheme.
To be eligible, projects have to have been completed between 1 January 2006 and 30 September 2006 and entrants will have to demonstrate outstanding examples of architecture and environmental design. Consideration is also given to the benefit which each project brings to its local area and community
The Civic Trust Awards are widely recognised as the largest and most comprehensive of their kind in Europe and aim to raise awareness of the importance of design in improving the environment. As well as Awards, recognition by the Civic Trust can take the form of Commendations for projects that make a valuable contribution to the quality and appearance of the environment and Mentions for projects of cultural social or economic benefit to the local community.
For the first time, entry forms will be available online at www.civictrust.org.uk and the closing date will be 13 September 2006.
