Dingwall Leisure Centre remains open

Although the Swimming Pool at Dingwall Leisure Centre is closed for essential repairs the rest of the building is fully operational and offers a wide range of activities for people to enjoy over the holidays.

The fully air-conditioned Fitness suite has a varied selection of cardiovascular and resistance equipment and combined with helpful and professional advice from highly trained staff, a session can provide a really good all-round work-out.

The Main Sports Hall is a large four court multi purpose halls which can be used for a wide range of activities including 5-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, hockey and badminton.

The smaller Activity Hall is also available for a variety of uses and activities available include bouncy castle; badminton; table tennis; short tennis and bowls.

The programme of fitness classes which are included in the High-Life scheme are also running as normal with Body Attack; Step Aerobics; Circuits; Over 50’s Keep Fit; Body balance and Spinning sessions on offer Monday to Sunday.
Manager Scott Lindsay said:  “Although the pool is out of use we are very much open as normal over the Easter holidays with the rest of the Centre fully open 7 days a week. Anyone wishing further details or to make a booking should give us a call on 01349 864226 or visit our website www.dingwallleisure.co.uk for further details.

After the Easter holidays the Main sports hall will be temporarily closed from Monday  25 April for 2 weeks to allow for new energy efficient lighting to be installed.  The small activity hall will remain open but from the 2nd May the whole facility will be closed for 3 days for the installation of a bio-mass boiler.
