Highland youth mountain bike race series results

The fourth round of the Highland Youth Mountain Bike Race Series took place on Saturday 20 August at Nevis Range, Fort William.
 
The competition consisted of multiple loops of a short course that took in the blue and green trails in the skills area.
 
The under 8's raced first; a field of 10 riders with the youngest competitors just 5 years old.  A hugely supportive crowd cheered them onto the fnish line, where the U10's were ready for the next race.  This was followed by each category up to U18.
 
The race was organised by Schootish Cycling in conjunction with The Highland Council’s Active Schools Coordinators.  The final round takes place at Glenmore Lodge on 17 September.
