Lochaber date for Edinburgh Festival Fringe performers
The Sunart Centre in Strontian hosts an aerial dance spectacular on Friday 2nd September when two companies who have just finished a highly acclaimed run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe visit Lochaber.
Uncharted Waters is an exciting new circus dance theatre show collaboration between Strangebird Zirkus and All or Nothing aerial dance theatre. Both companies are at the forefront of a dynamic new performance style emerging in Scotland, which crosses the boundaries between circus, dance and theatre. The audience will be swept away by spectacular skill on Chinese pole, aerial fabrics and rope together with stunning imagery and haunting live music and song.
Uncharted Waters is performed and devised by Jennifer Paterson (All or Nothing Aerial Dance Theatre), Lucy Deacon & Moritz Linkmann (Strangebird Zirkus) and multi instrumentalist Dave Boyd and includes direction from Christine Devaney, dramatic development from Ben Harrison, support from Frank McConnell and soundtracks from David Paul Jones and Jym Daly of Fidget Feet.
The performance in Strontian begins at 8pm, and tickets costing £10/£8/£5 are available locally and at the door.
