Perfect weather for a Winter Wonderland
Once again snow has arrived right on schedule to provide the perfect setting for the Inverness Winter Festival’s favourite event for toddlers, Rudolph’s Winter Wonderland, will be staged in the Highland Capital’s Whin Park this weekend on Saturday and Sunday evenings. (December 10th and December 11th)
The 4pm to 7pm event, which is being hosted by Rudolph and his reindeer friends, will feature the illumination of Whin Park by the Highland Council’s Lighting Department. A number of giant features are to be installed around the Park and also appearing will be Santa and four of the largest Calling Birds ever seen in Inverness.
Inverness Winter Festival Working Group Member Councillor Glynis Sinclair said: “This is a wonderful event which has been designed for the smaller members of our community and for all those who are young at heart! We would ask everybody to wrap up warmly and come and experience what is sure to be one of the highlights of this year’s Festival for the younger members of our community."
