Temporary overnight closure of city road

Drivers in Inverness are being advised that from Sunday 18 December part of Shore Street will be temporarily closed to traffic on four consecutive nights from 8pm to 6am.

The temporary road closure, which affects Shore Street between its junction with Innes Street and its junction with Harbour Road, is to allow Carillion Civil Engineering to safely carry out essential engineering works to the railway arches.

The nightly closures affect all vehicular traffic.  Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access for Emergency Service’ Vehicles will be controlled by the contractor.
