Extended closure of Lochaber leisure facility

Lochaber Leisure Centre and Hydrotherapy Pool will not re open on Monday 14th February as planned.

The new date for re-opening is scheduled for Monday 28 March.

The project has been delayed primarily due to significant water leaks in the roof which have been exacerbated by the recent adverse weather conditions. In addition there have been delays with the supply of key material deliveries.

The management and staff appreciate the publics' co-operation and patience during this time. The Highland Council would like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their continued support and to apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The Council remains committed to delivering high quality leisure facilities and are looking forward to the new opportunities that the refurbishment will bring to the people of Lochaber.
