Cromarty Firth Ward Forum to look at budget implications

Following the setting of the Highland Council’s Council Budget on 10th February the Cromarty Firth Ward Forum is set to consider the local impact of the budget.

Councillor Carolyn Wilson said: “There is no doubt we have had to make some of the hardest decisions we have ever made in this budget but there have been highs as well as lows. Here in the Cromarty Firth Ward, despite the requirement for savings we’ve been particularly pleased to be able to keep local pools and librarys open – both issues identified as priorities during the consultation in the summer of 2010.”

The Cromarty Firth Ward Forum is being held in the Invergordon Town Hall, High Street, Invergordon on Thursday 24th February from 7.30pm to 9.30pm and everybody is welcome.
