Free fitness offer for High Life members and friends

Help is at hand for Highland folk, whose New Year resolution is to get fit in 2011. The Highland Council is offering one free month of membership to the popular leisure scheme, High Life, for existing all inclusive members and a friend, who signs up for membership during January.

Vouchers to pick up and complete by the member and their friend are available in the 20 participating High Life Centres throughout the Highlands.

High Life delivers affordable access to Highland's leisure facilities. Members can choose from all-inclusive access to all facilities for just £23.60 per month for family access, or £16.80 per month for individual access.

The offer of one free month of membership is available at the following High Life centres:

Councillor Bill Fernie, Chairman of The Highland Council’s Education, Culture and Sport Committee said: “Our High Life leisure scheme is already excellent value for money. This New Year offer is an extension of the Council’s commitment to encouraging healthy lifestyles by rewarding existing members as well as those participating for the first time. It’s a great opportunity to kick start 2011 as your active, healthy year.”

Anyone who would like to join High Life but doesn’t know any existing members can still benefit from the one free month of membership offer providing they sign up in January for an individual or family all-inclusive subscription.
