Drivers affected during maintenance work on Dalcross Level Crossing

In order to allow Network Rail to carry out essential maintenance at Dalcross Level Crossing, temporary traffic restrictions will be in place during certain hours from Saturday 22 January until Monday 24 January.

The section of the C1020 Dalcross Station Road affected is from its southernmost boundary with Dalcross Level Crossing and continuing in a northwesterly direction to its northernmost boundary with the Crossing.  This part of the C1020 will be closed to all vehicles from the following times:

• 10pm on Saturday 22 January until 10am on Sunday 23 January
• 10pm on Sunday 23 January until 6.00am on Monday 24 January

Alternative routes for vehicles will be available using the A96 Aberdeen – Inverness Trunk Road, the B9039 Newton – Castle Stuart – Ardersier Road, the unclassified Castle Stuart – Easter Dalziel Road and part of the C1020 Dalcross Station Road.

Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be controlled by the Contractor.
