Fun dog show

Following on from the success of last years show, which attracted over 170 entries from all over Highland, The Highland Council and Green Dog Walkers, (Highland) are running Dog Dayz, a fun dog show for all the family on Sunday 19 June at the Black Isle Showground, Muir of Ord.

Running from 10am to 4pm, there will be lots of fun classes for all types of dogs and all ages including fancy dress dog and handler classes for the under 12’s and over 12’s. 

There will also be demonstrations from a Husky Racing Team, and of Dog Agility and Flyball. Dog micro-chipping will also be available all day and there will be a food and craft stall.

The event is aimed at promoting the work of The Highland Council Dog Wardens, promoting responsible dog ownership in Highland and promoting the “Green Dog Walkers” scheme which was recently introduced in Highland.

Entries for all classes will be on the day with a £1 entry fee for each class.   The judging starts from 12 noon.
