Fort William Registration Office moves to Lochaber House

The Highland Council is advising the public that from Tuesday 5 July, its Registration Service in Fort William is moving from the West Highland College to the Council Service Point, Lochaber House.

From this date, ceremonies, such as weddings, administered by the Registration Service will take place within the Council Chamber at Lochaber House.

At the same time, the opening hours for the Registration Service and the Service Point will change to 9.30 am  - 4.30 pm - Monday - Friday. 

The move is part of a Highland-wide review of the services the Council provides to its customers, which recognises the need to make better use of Council accommodation/premises and to tailor opening hours to the demands of customers.
