Temporary road closures during Corrieyairack Challenge event

Motorists and members of the public are being advised by The Highland Council that temporary road closures will be in place on Saturday 2 July during the Corrieyairack Challenge event.

The B862 Fort Augustus – Inverness Road will be closed at its junction with the A82 Glasgow – Fort William – Inverness trunk road to its junction with the U1667 Ardachy road, Fort Augustus from 9.30am to 10.00am and again from 11.00am to 11.20am.

The U1667 Ardachy Road in Fort Augustus will be closed at its junction with the A82 Glasgow – Fort William – Inverness Trunk Road to its junction with the B8862 Fort Augustus to Inverness Road from 9am to 12 noon.
Finally the U2104 Laggan – Garvamore - Melgarve Road will be closed at the eastern end of Garva Bridge to its termination at the ford in the Allt Feith a Mhoraire from 9am to 5pm.

The event organisers will be arranging temporary signage to be erected advising motorists of these closures.  Pedestrian access will not be affected.
