Tribute paid to memory of Easter Ross pupil

Miss Caroline Cameron, head teacher of the 50-pupil Milton Primary School, Kildary, paid tribute to the memory of Aidan Owens (6), who died in a fire at his home at the weekend.

She said: "Aidan will be much missed at Milton Primary School, All his friends and staff are remembering the many happy times we shared together.  He has left a gap in our Milton Primary family.  It is a quiet place today. Our hearts go out to Aidan's family. We feel their loss."

Aidan's sister, Chloe, a primary seven pupil at Milton Primary, was injured in the incident.  Miss Cameron added: "We are thinking about Chloe as she recovers in hospital."
