Ft William Registration Office moves to Lochaber House

The Highland Council is reminding the public that from Tuesday 5 July, its Registration Service in Fort William is moving from the West Highland College to share premises with the Council Service Point, Lochaber House.

To accommodate the move, the Registration Service and Service Point will be closed on Friday 1 July from noon. Customers should contact the Council’s Service Centre on 01349 886606 with any Service Point enquiry and Inverness Registration Office on 01463 256400 with any registration query.

The Service Point will be open again on Monday 4 July and the Registration Office will open on Tuesday 5 July.

The opening hours of the Registration Service and the Service Point will be 9.30 am - 4.30 pm - Monday - Friday. 

From Tuesday, ceremonies, such as weddings, administered by the Registration Service will take place within the Council Chamber at Lochaber House.

The move is part of a Highland-wide review of the services the Council provides to its customers.

Opening hours of many Service Points will also be amended over the coming weeks to reflect customer demand.
