Pupils To Perform West Side Story

Glen Urquhart High School pupils are eagerly waiting for the curtain to raise as they prepare to stage their most challenging production yet, Leonard Bernsteins West Side Story which opens at the school tomorrow night (Tuesday 5 December).

Following the huge success of last years show, the members of the school drama group were determined to produce another big performance.  This time the bar has been raised even higher, with a huge musical numbers as well as tough choreography.

With a cast of almost one third of the 235 school roll, the production features a group of committed and talented students from S2-S6.  It has even involved other staff members donating Wedding Dresses to add to the dramatic effect.

The show runs from tomorrow night until Friday 8th December.  Although tickets for the final night on Friday were snapped up within a day of going on sale, there are still tickets for the performances on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday which all begin at 7.30pm.
