Temporary Closure of City Roads For Hogmanay Fireworks

Three roads in the city centre of Inverness with be temporarily closed from 4.30pm to 6.30pm on Sunday 31st December due to the Inverness Hogmanay Fireworks Display

Castle Road will be closed at its junction with Haugh Road to its junction with Bridge Street.   Ness Walk will be closed at its junction with Young Street to its con-junction with Ardross Terrace and Ardross Terrace will be closed from Ness Walk to its con-junction with Ardross Street.

These closures will affect vehicle traffic only so pedestrians and emergency vehicles will still be able to use the routes.

The firework display will begin at 5.30pm and will last for approximately 15 minutes.  The display is best viewed from the Cathedral side of the River Ness.
