Motorists advised of disruption at Henderson Road, Inverness

Motorists are being advised of resurfacing works being carried out on Henderson Road, Longman, Inverness over the next few days.

The Highland Council has instructed Breedon Aggregates to resurface (almost) the complete length of Henderson Road - from its junction with the A82 to Lotland Street.

Work will be carried out overnight between 8pm and 6am, from Monday 7 November until Saturday 12 November.

Diversions will be in place during working hours, with appropriate traffic management on Henderson Road during the daytime. 

There will need to be a lane closure at the junction on the A82 eastbound at times, and this is being discussed with the Trunk Road Agency, Scotland Transerv.

Motorists are asked for their forbearance with the unavoidable disruption, and request particularly that they have consideration for the safety of the workforce.
