Invergordon Academy Update

Work will continue through the night in an attempt to enable Invergordon Academy to reopen tomorrow (Tuesday) following a ceiling leak which has resulted in water penetration into the canteen and corridors. As a result of the water damage,  the school, which has 440 pupils, was closed today (Monday).
 
A site meeting will be held at the school in time for a decision to be taken by 7 am.
 
Parents are urged to listen to the radio (BBC and Moray Firth Radio) or visit the home page of the Council's web site: http://www.www.highland.gov.uk/ to establish if the school can open.
