Inverness South by-election timetable unveiled

The timetable for the election for the return of a councillor for Ward 20 (Inverness South) of The Highland Council has been confirmed today (Monday). 

Nomination forms are now available and candidates have until  4pm on Wednesday, 12 October, to confirm they are standing.  A by-election will take place on Thursday, 3 November if the seat is contested.

Completed forms must be delivered to the Depute Returning Officer, Council Headquarters, Glenurquhart Road, Inverness, IV3 5NX.

The Inverness South Ward has a total electorate of 9,314 people.
