Seadrift Egg-stravaganza
Seven families joined The Highland Council’s North Caithness Ranger Paul Castle the at the Seadrift Visitor Centre in Dunnet Bay Caithness and had great fun decorating Easter eggs.
Using blown chicken eggs and paints, pens and feathers the kids designed their very own Easter decorations. They also decorated egg-heads using opened egg shells, filled with compost and cress seeds which will grow and create an edible hair style.
Paul said “All the kids had fun and created some wonderful designs and they will also have a living, growing reminder of today which they can enjoy. I would like to thank everyone for their interest and I would also remind folk that our 2012 ranger booklet is available now listing all our events throughout Highland.”
