Bridge inspection works Fort Augustus

Motorists are advised that temporary traffic restrictions will be in place on the unclassified Ardachy Road, Fort Augustus, in order to allow the inspection of Ardachy Bridge on Thursday 2 August from 9am to 12noon

The closure will affect vehicular traffic, but pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. Alternative routes for vehicular traffic will be signposted during the periods of the closure.

The traffic restrictions are to enable routine inspection works to be carried out as part of The Highland Council’s bridge inspection regime.
