Waste to Energy Plant, Invergordon

Highland Councillors are going to proceed with an appeal against a decision by a Reporter appointed by Scottish Ministers to grant planning permission for a major waste to energy plant at Invergordon.

They will now instruct counsel to prepare the appeal documentation.

The applicant is Combined Power and Heat (Highlands) Limited, who plan to incinerate 100,000 tonnes of non-hazardous waste per year.
