Final call for Skye Airport Survey

Over 800 responses have been received so far for a survey assessing the potential of air services for Skye.

RDC Aviation has been appointed by HITRANS, Highlands and Islands Enterprise (HIE) and Highland Council to conduct the independent research. Its questions are primarily aimed at businesses but the survey is also seeking views from others with an interest.

Its findings will help assess demand - to determine which destinations could be most viable and the potential frequency of flights.

Final submissions are being invited over the holiday period as the survey will close mid January and the report will conclude early in 2013.
