Temporary city road closure

Drivers in Inverness are being advised that part of Old Edinburgh Road will be temporarily closed to all vehicles from 9.30am on Monday 20 February until 6pm on Friday 24 February.  This temporary closure is to allow for utility work to be carried out.

The section of Old Edinburgh Road affected is from the junction with Muirfield Road and its junction with Muirfield Lane.  An alternative route for vehicles will be available using Muirfield Lane and Muirfield Road.  Diversion signage will be in place. Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times.
