Roads Closed To Traffic During Inverness Half Marathon

The Inverness Half Marathon and Fun Run takes place on Sunday 12 March and motorists in the city are being warned that during the event roads along the route will be temporarily closed to traffic.

Bught Road and Ness Walk Upper will be closed at the junction with Glenurquhart Road and the junction with Bishop’s Road and Bishop’s Road will be closed at its junction with Ness Walk Upper to its junction with Ardross Terrace.

These roads will remain closed from 12.30 to 3.00pm but access for pedestrians or emergency vehicles will not be affected.

During the closures, alternative routes for cars will be available using part of Bishops Road, Ballifeary Road, Ballifeary Lane, Bught Avenue, Bughts Drive and Glenurquhart Road.
