Ness Islands closure

The Highland Council is advising members of the public that the Ness Islands, Inverness will be closed on Thursday 14 June.

For health and safety reasons, access is being restricted to allow contractors to undertake a deep cleaning power wash of the islands’ bridges. The islands will be closed from 6am to around 6pm or as soon as works are completed.

Pedestrians and cyclists wishing to cross the River Ness can use the nearby Infirmary Bridge.
