Ness Bridge inspection works

Motorists are being advised by The Highland Council of essential inspection work being carried out on the Ness Bridge, Inverness on Sunday (24 June).

To accommodate the inspection vehicle and provide a safe environment for the inspection team, the city bound pavement and the lane nearest to this pavement taking traffic from Tomnahurich Street and Young Street on to the bridge will be closed between 6.30 am and 6 pm.

The outer lane will remain open and the left turn from the bridge into Bank Street will be maintained.

It is hoped that any delays will be kept to a minimum but motorists might wish to consider an alternative route into the city from Tomnahurich Street and Young Street during the time of the inspection.
