Balloch Primary takes Rotary Club primary schools quiz trophy

Pupils of Balloch Primary school were the winners of the Inverness heat of the Rotary Primary Schools Quiz Competition which was recently held at Charleston Academy (Thursday 15th April).

This was one of the closest fought quizzes in the history of this competition, going to the wire with an elimination heat to separate the teams from Balloch Primary and Drakies Primary. The winners, Balloch Primary School, will participate in the next round, covering primary schools north of the Tay, to be held in Aberdeen.

The photograph shows the winning team (left to right) Neil Crawshaw, Ainsley Macdonald, Calum Speight and Nayeem Hussain receiving the trophy from Mr Ritchie Cunningham, the Vice President of the Rotary Club of Inverness. Andrew Cullen, the reserve, is not present in the photograph but participated as part of another team on the night.
