Help is at hand for Lochaber and Skye businesses to supply The Highland Council

Two free events aimed at helping Lochaber and Skye based businesses to supply The Highland Council will take place on Wednesday 28 November in Fort William and Thursday 29 November in Portree.

The events will take place in the Ben Nevis Hotel and Leisure Club, Fort William and Council Chambers, Tigh na Sgire, Portree.

Members of the Council’s Procurement team and Enterprise Europe will be on hand to provide free information and advice to help businesses through the processes of tendering for Council contracts.

Businesses in the Lochaber and Skye areas which already supply, or wish to supply to the Council are encouraged to come along to talk individually to Procurement staff.

Participants will be able to find out about upcoming contract opportunities from £5,000 to £5,000,000, discuss how the tendering process works, and discuss any concerns they might have.

Topics businesses may wish to discuss might include:

Businesses can book a 20 minute slot with a member of staff between 9am and 4.30pm by telephoning 01463 703887, or emailing procurement.unit2@highland.gov.uk.  Alternatively they can just drop in when convenient – but be prepared for a short wait.
